Work Experience
We strongly encourage work experience opportunities at St John Fisher. It offers an excellent opportunity for students to learn and prepare for their future transition into the workplace.
These experience can come in many forms:
- In person work experience
- Virtual work experience
- Volunteering
- Paid part-time work
Year 10
Year students will be offered the opportunity for in-person work experience in the July before they enter Year 11. Further details will be sent to parents/carers in the spring term of Y10.
Sixth Form
In addition to any part-time employment or volunteering, Year 12 & 13 students will be offered the opportunity to arrange in-person work experience throughout Y12 and the first term of Y13.
They can find their own experience or school can support them in their research through checked and authorised companies and organisations.
