At St John Fisher Catholic Academy, we believe that some of the most powerful learning happens beyond the classroom - and sometimes even outside of a student’s comfort zone. That’s why we offer a varied and rich programme of events and activities beyond the formal curriculum.

From awe-inspiring geography adventures in Iceland, cultural and historical experiences in New York and France, to faith-filled retreats and our spiritual pilgrimage to Lourdes, students are given opportunities that broaden their horizons and help them grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. We also offer exciting trips like skiing holidays, as well as subject-specific excursions that bring learning to life in unforgettable ways.

These experiences are designed not only to support academic learning but also to develop resilience, deepen friendships, and inspire a lifelong love of discovery preparing students for life beyond school, in every sense.
